Land/Building document

A land document (Pattayam / Adharam) is a legal document issued by the Government in the name of the actual owner of a particular plot of land. It can also be issued for lands having buildings or individual houses etc. constructed on them. Pattayam is the very first and original record about the ownership of a property whereas Adharam is a document written by an authorized licensee in a stamp paper as per the value of land and registered in registrar office about the transaction made to a property.  It can also be used to establish the right of ownership in a court of law.
